আমরা কখন আমাদের চাকরি ভালোবাসি? [When do we love our jobs?]

এখানে যে ছবিটা আপনারা দেখছেন সেটি হচ্ছে, একদল কর্মব্যস্ত, ক্লান্ত, চাকুরীজীবীর লাইন। সারাদিনের কর্মব্যস্ততার শেষে বাড়ি যাবার জন্য কার আগে কে ফেস এটেন্ডেন্স মেশিনে ফেস আউট এন্ট্রি দিবে সেটা নিয়ে রীতিমতো তাড়াহুড়ো করছে। বিষয়টা এমন যে আগে অ্যাটেনডেন্স দিতে পারবে সে যেন আগে বাড়ি যেতে পারবে! আমাদের চাকরিজীবীদের প্রত্যেকেরই জীবনটা একই রকম সকালে ঘুম থেকে আমাদের উঠতে ইচ্ছা করে না। অনেক সময় দেখা যায় পাঁচ মিনিট আরো বেশি ঘুমাবো এই লোভে পড়ে অফিসে লেট হয়ে যায়। আমাদের অফিসে আসতে ভালো লাগে না। কিন্তু অফিস থেকে তাড়াতাড়ি যেতে ভালো লাগে। বেশিরভাগ চাকরিজীবীদের একটা বিষয়ে খুব কমন! আমার মনে হয় এবং এই একটা দিনই তাদের সবার চাকরিটা ভালো লাগে আর সেটা হচ্ছে যেদিন সে স্যালারি পায়!!! আসলে আমাদের দেশে কর্ম পরিবেশ স্বাস্থ্যকর, বিনোদনময় এবং আকর্ষণীয় করার যে উদ্যোগ থাকাটা খুবই জরুরী সে বিষয়ে আসলে আমাদের কর্তা ব্যক্তিদের নজর বাড়াতে হবে। তা না হলে এই যে বাড়ি যাবার জন্য হুড়োহুড়ির লাইন, এই তাড়াতাড়ি, পারাপারির লাইন এটা দিনকে দিন হয়তো বড়ই হতে থাকবে!!!

রজনীকান্ত একজন সুপারস্টার [Rajinikanth is a superstar in Tamil movies]

তামিল মুভিতে রজনীকান্ত একজন সুপারস্টার। তার হাঁটাচলা, তার একশন, তার কথা বলার ভঙ্গি অনেকেরই ভালো লাগে। বিশেষ করে যেকোনো একশন মুভিতে তার এন্ট্রিটা আসলেই অনেক আকর্ষণীয় মনে হয়। যেন মনে হয় খুব শক্তিশালী একজন মানুষ সব নষ্টের বিরুদ্ধে জয়ী হবার জন্য ঝড়ের মত এগিয়ে আসছে কখনো বা ভূমিকম্পের মতো এগিয়ে আসছে। তবে একটা বিষয় আমার কাছে খুব ইন্টারেস্টিং লাগে সেটা হচ্ছে, সবগুলো তার অ্যাকশন মুভিতেই প্রথমে তার এন্ট্রিতে কোন রোমান্সকর বা তীব্র একশন উত্তেজক মিউজিকের সাথে সাথে তার পা দেখানো হয়, পা ধুলা উড়িয়ে এগিয়ে আসছে, হাতে কোন অস্ত্র থাকে, সে অস্ত্র দিয়ে মানুষকে কাটাকুটি করা হচ্ছে। পিছন থেকে ব্যাকগ্রাউন্ডে হয়তো বোমা ব্লাস্ট বা তীব্র সূর্যের আলো বা তীব্র আলো বা কোন ঝলঝনে শব্দ তৈরি করা হয়।

সবকিছু মিলে এখন পর্যন্ত আমার মনে হয় যেকোনো অ্যাকশন হিরো এন্ট্রিতে তার এন্ট্রিটাই সবচেয়ে ইন্টারেস্টিং। শুধু আমার নয়, আমার ছেলে আফিকেরও এটা অনেক ভালো লাগে। সে আবার রজনীকান্তের এক বিরাট ভক্ত। তার নতুন অ্যাকশন মুভি সে দেখে নাই এমনটা নাই এবং নিজেও মাঝেমধ্যে রজনীকান্তের মতো অ্যাকশন এন্ট্রি মারতে চায়। তাই তাকে নিয়ে এই ছোট্ট একটা ভিডিও বানিয়েছি। সবাইকে দেখার আমন্ত্রণ রইল।

কোচিং সেন্টার নিয়ে এলোমেলো ভাবনা [Random thoughts about coaching centers]

আমাদের দেশের শিক্ষা ব্যবস্থায় এখন কোচিং সেন্টার ছাড়া ভালো রেজাল্ট করা খুব মুশকিল। তাই আমিও আমার সন্তানকে কোচিং সেন্টারে দিয়েছি। সেখানে সে সপ্তাহে তিন দিন যায়। পড়াশোনা করে। বন্ধুদের সাথে হুল্লোর। করে আনন্দ করে। ক্লাসের স্যার ম্যাডামরা সেখানে ক্লাসের চেয়ে অনেক বেশি যত্ন নিয়ে পড়ায়। আমিও মাঝেমধ্যে সেখানে যাই। যেয়ে ওদের পড়াশুনার খোঁজ-খবর নেই। স্যারদের সাথে কথা বলি।  ভালো লাগে। সমস্যা হচ্ছে, এত পড়াশুনা! এত পরীক্ষা!

অনেক সময় দেখা যায় যে, আমার ছেলের ব্যাগ এতটাই ভারী হয়ে যায় যে সে ওটা নিজে বহন করতে পারে না। তখন ওটা আমাকে বা ওর মাকে বহন করতে হয়! মাঝেমধ্যে মনে হয়, দূর! এত পড়াশোনা করে কি হবে! আবার ভাবি, না করেই উপায় কি! আসলে পড়াশুনার এই অযাচিত চাপে এখনকার স্কুলের বেশিরভাগ বাচ্চারাই গল্পের বই কি জিনিস সেটাই ভুলে গেছে! তারপর ফেসবুক, ইউটিউব এগুলা আমার মনে হয় আমাদের বাচ্চার পড়ার, বিশেষ করে, বই পড়ার আগ্রহ টোটালি শেষ করে দিয়েছে। তবুও আমার মনে হয়, চেষ্টা করা উচিত ওদেরকে বই পড়াই উৎসাহিত করার। আসলে বই পড়ার মাঝে যে আনন্দ সেটা আমি অন্য কিছুতে পাই না।

যাহোক কোচিং সেন্টারে কথা বলতে যেয়ে অন্য অনেক চিন্তার মাঝে ডুবে গিয়েছিলাম। এখনকার কোচিং সেন্টার গুলোর মধ্যে কিছু ইন্টারেস্টিং বিষয় আছে। আমার দেখা এই কোচিং সেন্টার যেখানে নিচতলায় একটা দোকান আছে। সেখানে বাচ্চাদের স্টেশনারি, বই খাতা, স্নাক্স, কেক, সব ড্রিংকস এগুলো বিক্রি করে। তার মানে দাঁড়াচ্ছে কোচিং ব্যবসাতেও মাল্টি পারপাস সার্ভ হচ্ছে। কোচিং ভালো কি মন্দ এই বিতর্কে যাব না। এখনকার প্রেক্ষাপটে সেটা চিন্তা করেও লাভ নাই। সময়ের সাথে যেটা প্রয়োজন আমি সাধারণ মানুষ, আমরা সাধারণ মানুষের যেটা দরকার, সেটা তো এভয়েড করার সুযোগ নেই। একটা সমস্যা হচ্ছে, ক্লাস রুমগুলোতে আলো বাতাস আরেকটু বেশি হলে ভালো হয়। পড়ুক বাচ্চারা, ক্লাসেই পড়ুক, কোচিং সেন্টারে পড়ুক আর বাসায় পড়ুক যেখানেই পড়ুক, পড়ার মতো পড়াটা হলেই হয়। এটাই প্রত্যাশা।

Many times it happens that my son's bag becomes so heavy that he cannot carry it himself. Then I or his mother have to carry it! Sometimes I think, oh my! What will happen if I study so much! Again, I think, what is the way out? In fact, most of the children in today's schools have forgotten what story books are! Then Facebook, YouTube, I think, have completely destroyed our children's interest in reading, especially books. Still, I think, we should try to encourage them to read books. In fact, I don't get the joy that comes from reading books in anything else.

However, when I went to talk to the coaching center, I was immersed in many other thoughts. There are some interesting things about the current coaching centers. The coaching center I saw has a shop on the ground floor. They sell children's stationery, books, snacks, cakes, all kinds of drinks. That means that the coaching business is also serving a multi-purpose purpose. I will not go into the debate about whether coaching is good or bad. In the current context, there is no point in thinking about it. I am a common man, we common people need what is needed with time, there is no way to avoid it. One problem is, it would be better if there was a little more light and air in the classrooms. Let the children study, let them study in class, let them study at the coaching center and at home, wherever they study, they should study as they read. That is the expectation.]
